What do Canadians and people from the North East of England have in common? Well, we're both known to for our friendliness, politeness and cold weather. Oh, and we also both LOVE beer!

Welcome to Thirsty Moose Brewing Co - where the North East of England and Canada collide.

Located in Blaydon, Newcastle upon Tyne, we are a family-run microbrewery with Canadian roots. Since opening our doors in 2022, we have been dedicated to the art of small-batch brewing, ensuring each of our beers receives the attention it deserves.

From hoppy ales to rich stouts, we are on a mission to create a lineup of hand-crafted brews, each as diverse and dynamic as the North East and Canadian landscapes that inspire them.

Our flagship beer is the SIBA award-winning Canny Canuck, a maple brown ale that embodies the fusion of Canadian and North East flavours.

Our oatmeal stout. Velvet-smooth and well-bodied with undertones of rich chocolate, coffee and light charcoal. Available on cask and keg.

This pale ale celebrates the roots of Thirsty Moose, created in the North East in 2022. Available on cask, keg and cans.

Oot N' Aboot

Once upon a Tyne

Our NEW amber ale! Revel in its malty richness, sweet caramel notes, and a touch of honey and earthiness in the aroma. Available on cask and keg.

Belta Blonde

A purely belta blonde ale! A session ale with a harmonious and subtle blend of sweet citrus, passion fruit, honey, and light malt. Available on cask and keg.

Hazy Hinny

Blonde with a juicy, tropical and citrus flavour, Hazy Hinny is our hazy pale ale. Available on cask, keg and cans.
